Descriptive: Setsiri Silapasuwanchai
As I was looking around on Google, I found a website called Fine Art America. I like this photograph because it shows the actions of diamonds falling, hence why the title of the photograph is "Falling Diamonds" but, I like the contrast that the photographer uses monochrome colors such as a black background and white diamonds. The reason why the photograph is descriptive is because you can see the diamonds falling.
Explanatory: Michaella Danquah-Tabbi
The image that I took while I was driving my mother's car, my mother's start and stop system was acting weird, so I took a photo of it and I sent it to my father. I feel like this photograph is Explanatory because it is explains to the audience that there is something wrong with the vehicle.
Interpretative: Sundaram Ramaswany
The image that I found on website Flickr and the account that posted it was Sundaram Ramaswany. The reason why I chose this image is because Ramaswany captioned a quote by Pedro Calderon de la Barca to have the audience think about the purpose of the image.
Aesthetically Evaluative: Michaella Danquah-Tabbi
When I was out with one of my close friends, I liked how the setting and the ambiance of the restaurant was really pleasant. The reason why the photograph is aesthetically evaluative is because the use of vibrant primary colors and dull secondary colors.
Ethically Evaluative: Michaella Danquah-Tabbi
I took this photo of my living room to show the emptiness of is since I was home alone and no one else was home.. This photograph is ethically evaluative because it shows the importance of not being alone and how loneliness can affect someone.
Theoretical: Alexandru Moga
I found this photograph on the Art Majeur website. The title of the photograph is called "Of Wings and Deformed Perspectives". I chose this photograph to be theoretical because even though there are three birds in the background, the blurred and non blurred hands reaching out is making me think about Icarus.
The Best Photo of this Challenge

I think that the photo of the Japanese restaurant is the best photo that I have to be Aesthetically Evaluative. The most challenging part of this challenge is for me to not overthink about how I want the photograph to be because even though I will have one meaning of the photo but the audience may have different meanings behind the photos that I will take. To make strong images I will start to plan it out more than waiting for an opportunity.

"Hi Jake! I like on how the photograph turned out! Even though sometimes taking a vertical photo to capture a lot of people is difficult, you were able to perfectly get the basket ball played and the audience in an equal spacing while the game is in progress. I also like on how you took advantage of the stadium lighting of the basketball court which helps bring the audience looking at your photograph look directly towards the players." - Jake Prince (https://jakerosj4.wixsite.com/jake-prince-digital/post/critiquing-photography)
