Course Goals And Achievements

For my first goal, I believe that I understand the aspect on how to take a photo that expresses the subject in the photo. It doesn't have to be forcefully positioned to show the expressions of the subject, it has to be natural.

For my second goal,, I figured out what kind of photography style I would like and it was more of an abstract, aesthetically evaluative style because it helps with having a bold effect in the images that I would take in the future.

For my third goal, I would say that I partially achieved my goal, I am more comfortable with taking photos of my self than how I was at the begging of the semester. As I am still discovering myself, I can always express myself through photographs and look back on my progress.

The major takeaway that I will take from this class is that, when it comes to photos, even though they may look the same or if some photographers has the same or similar styles, if you take a closer look, the differences would be major and with that someone can make a better photograph.

For this assignment, I would choose the photo above as my best image that I have taken for this challenge. The most challenging aspect was to not have my images look identical to each other because having inspiration is taking bits and pieces of the images and having the inspiration show through our eyes. With the images I chose, I like it to be aesthetically evaluative, have one or more focal point and to make a bold statement to the audience.
