Throughout January 8th to January 14th, I have taken about 12 photos. At first I thought I can take the photos randomly, then start to plan and think through the photos that I would like to take. I had a great time taking the photos and I have started to learn what kind of photos I would like to take as a student photographer

COMMENTS THAT I HAVE MADE ON CLASSMATE'S BLOGS

  • "Hi Alex! I like how you like to take pictures of historic New Castle, Delaware. Even though I like on how you used the natural lighting in your favor, I wonder how the photo would look from a slightly further point of view using the Rule of Thirds technique. I like how the use of the primary colors in the background showing a major contrast, when comparing to the main focus of the photography." - https://alexwykart.weebly.com/dpc-best-imagecomments/best-image#comments

  • "https://creativediamond345.wixsite.com/michaellad-tabbi I love the outdoor photo that you have taken. There is an even lighting of the sunlight and the shadows as someone could see in real life like they are in the space themselves. The composition of this photo was good but I do believe if the photo was vertical it will be would show the audience a way that they can imagine themselves walking on the path."- https://www.notion.so/dozen-photo-challenge-67a969aba9304700aeff1d1609946231

  • "I like the photo that you took of your dog but, I do believe that the other photo that you have taken of your dog was a better choice. If you still want the up close picture of your dog, try and have the camera mainly focus on the dog and not have some parts of the dog be blurry with the background. I also think that it will be a good Idea to try different up close angles. https://creativediamond345.wixsite.com/michaellad-tabbi/blog" -https://amvisuals12.weebly.com/comments-on-my-challenge

  • "Hi Keelin! I love the sunset photo that you took at the beach. There was enough exposure within the photo, It wasn't too bright or too dark it is an even amount of exposure. What I do like about the photo is that when I apply the Rule of Thirds to the photo, in my eyes the moon intersects with the top left corner while the person by the shore intersects with the bottom right corner." -https://kstark603.wixsite.com/kmacphotography/post/dozen-photo-challenge-best-image

  • "Hi Abigail! I love the photo that you took of your car and I do agree that the photo does have the 3D feel. I also like the vintage. feels that the photo has. The one thing that I would like to have you work on is the lighting when you are working with black and white because even though I can see that the tree on the left side of the photo is overshadowing your car, there are some parts of the car that feels like it is being blended on the road." -https://abigailromain.weebly.com/blog/dozen-photo-challenge#comments

  • "Hi Jake! I like how the colors in the photo popped out and how my eyes automatically shifted to the main focus which was the moon, if I am correct. I like how 1/3 of the photo has brightness while 2/3 of the photo has mostly shadows but the shadows wasn't too much. I also like that the photo was also showing movement with the trees on the right so I can infer that it may have been a windy day. https://creativediamond345.wixsite.com/michaellad-tabbi/blog" -https://jakerosj4.wixsite.com/jake-prince-digital/post/dozen-photo-challenge

  • "Hi Matt! I like how you used the composition to have the main focus be the graffiti on the wall and there is good even spacing. What I do think that can improve the photo is working with either the exposure and or the lighting of the photo because even though I was drawn to the graffiti , I was also drawn to looking at the sky the most." -https://poshustaphotos.weebly.com/blog/dozen-photo-challenge#comments

  • Hi Saunders! I like how you used contrast to have the main focus pop out which is an off white shell that is on a black desk. The lighting that you used help add texture to the shell and the desk but I think that one thing that can help improve the image, is the if you can try and take a picture of the shell at a lower angle since it is an up close photo. https://creativediamond345.wixsite.com/michaellad-tabbi/blog" -https://sdpenn.wixsite.com/saunderspennsportfol/post/dozen-photo-challenge

  • Hi Ritu! I like on how that there is an even contrast and spacing within the photo while using black and white. I like how your shadow is the focal point of the image and it gives off a traveling effect to the audience that the subject in the photo, which is you, is traveling by maybe doing a roadtrip.

  • "Hi Jazhira! I like on how you took a photo of the sky and how it gives of the vibe of yearning for something. Something that I would think would improve the image is to have some contrast because the image looks dark even though in the image it is a sunny day, so working the best on how much exposure you can get with the sun and the clouds can be played around with." -https://shiraphotography.weebly.com/blog/dozen-photo-challenge#comments

  • "Hi Elizabeth! I like the photo that you took of the doll and it sort of gives my Alice in Wonderland vibes to be honest. The only thing that I think that will improve the image is to play around with the angles because some parts in the image looks 2D while the other part of the image looks 3D." -https://lizn61.wixsite.com/digital-photo-class/post/side-lighting

  • "Hi Keely! I like the use of bold colors that are opposite of each other and there is a strong 3D feel in the image. The image gives off a vintage vibe like someone is writing a late night letter in secrecy or in hiding. https://creativediamond345.wixsite.com/michaellad-tabbi/blog" -https://keelym64.wixsite.com/art180/post/dozen-photos-challenge
